if that’s ok. “Excited” might not be the right emotion at this moment for me.
I’m burdened by it but like a deadline burdens you into doing the work. I’m interested in being there and experiencing it but mostly I’m curious to know who I will be out there. I am excited to meet this person and then get to unpack all of the failures and successes. These are stages, not the performances.
